Library of Congress Volunteer Services

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Library of Congress. We are excited to welcome new volunteers, however, we are currently not accepting new applications. Please check back later for new opportunities.

We will be looking for volunteers for our Greeter and Information Desk roles. Please see below for details on these two roles. Each of these roles act as a building block in the pathway to be a trained Docent at the Library of Congress. All volunteers interested in training as a Docent are required to start at either the Information Desk or as a Greeter.
